Energy is not restricted to time and space.  Everything in this world possesses energy.  A client does not need to be in front of a practitioner for healing to occur.  At the client’s request, a practitioner can perform a distance healing session by connecting with the client at his or her home.  The effects and benefits of the session are not lost by the distance.  Distance healing allows for flexibility, especially in emergency situations.
